10 facts about the universe

1. Nothing is in rest

1. In this universe, nothing is in the rest state. We are revolving around the sun. The sun is revolving around a black hole which is the center of Milky Way and the Milky Way is revolving around the universe. In this way everything is moving nothing is in rest.
   

2. A planet made up of diamondsthere is a planet in our Milky Way 55 Cancri e. It is made up of diamonds and widely known as Super-Earth discovered in 2004 A.D.  It is revolving a distant star which is 40 million light-years away from us.
   

   

3. Moon is moving away from earththe moon is moving away from the earth at the rate of 1.5 inches per year. In a few million years it will be apart from the earth and could destroy life or whole mankind.
   

   

4. Pluto is smaller than the United States.It sounds a little bit funny as well as amazing. Pluto is smaller than the United States although it is a draft planet. It lies in the Kuiper Belt.  Russia has the almost same surface area as the Pluto has.
   

   

5. Space is silentSpace is empty (not 100%) which means the sound has not any medium through which it can travel. No one gonna hear you if you screamed in the space. It feels like you are in a library. Shh!
   

   

6. A day on Venus is longer than a year on VenusIt is because Venus spins very slowly in respect of Earth and other planets. It takes approximately 243 Earth days to complete its one rotation. This is insane as well as amazing!

7. There is a black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxyAt the center of the Milky Way, there is a supermassive black hole named Sagittarius A*. This supermassive black hole is about 4 million times the mass of the sun. It is roughly 23.6 million kilometres  in diameter. It is about 26,000 light-years far from our Solar System. Our Sun and whole Milky Way galaxy is revolving around it. Wait, it does not sound good, Right? 
   

   Don't worry, you have absolutely nothing to worry about unless you plan to live for quadrillions of years, which I do, thanks to my future robot body. I'm ready for my singularity said, Dr. Kurzweil. 

   

   
   

8. Saturn can float in waterif you put Saturn on the water it won't sink, yes, it would float on water. You need a very huge amount of water to verify it experimentally. Although, it is the second-largest planet of our Solar System. However, it is mostly made up of gases and it is less dense than the water. Since, it is lighter than water, and the law of flotation applies to it. 
   

   

9. Charon is Pluto's largest moon, and is more than half size of PlutoIt sounds crazy but it is a real fact. Charon is Pluto's largest moon and it is more than half the size of the Pluto. It is 750 miles in diameter.  
   
   

   

10. The largest mountain in our Solar System is on MarsThe biggest mountain in our Solar System is Mt. Everest, which is located in Nepal but the largest mountain in our Solar System is not on Earth. It is on Mars. It is named as Olympus Mons. Its diameter is 624 kilometres. It is 3 times higher than Mt. Everest.
