~The Hottest Planet Is Not The Closest Planet To The Sun.

The closest planet to the sun is Mercury but it's not the hottest planet. Yeah, it sounds crazy but it's a real fact. It doesn't have an atmosphere so that it can store heat.

The hottest planet is Venus. It has an thick atmosphere and the heat does not escape back onto space. It has a temperature maintained at 462 degrees Celsius.

Venus is the second closest planet to the sun, being the hottest planet in our solar system. The atmosphere of Venus is composed of 96.5% carbon dioxide, 3.5% nitrogen, and traces of other gases, most notably sulfur dioxide which play a great vital role to store the heat or Sun's lights on the planet.

Our earth is the third closet planet to the sun but still we have  suitable temperatures. You must thank our atmosphere and mostly ozone layer.
